The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking a mid-level Transportation Planner II to develop and implement strategies to support economic development, transportation safety, and air quality initiatives related to the movement of freight.

CFIRE Executive Director Teresa Adams was recently honored by the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) for her leadership service to the council. Dr. Adams served on the CUTC Executive Committee for six years and as the council’s president in 2012-2013.

“CUTC has a vital role for continued university transportation research funding,” said Dr. Adams. “It was an honor to serve.”

Dr. Adams received the Past President award at the CUTC Annual Winter Meeting and Banquet, held on January 11, 2014 in Washington, DC. CUTC is a organization of university transportation centers (UTCs) with 90 member institutions.
