The U.S. railroad system is the backbone of our nation’s transportation and freight network. The rail system’s integrity is vital for our country’s economic growth and stability, and any failure in the system can have substantial consequences.

The University of Wisconsin has been conducting a study on the stabilization of weak sections of railroad ballast for long-term repair. The goal of the study is to determine what the best practices are for remediating these weak areas, including traditional methods as well as newer applications. URETEK is hosting this webinar with guest speaker James M. Tinjum, Associate Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison, to provide you with an update on this study and to explore the current findings.
