CFIRE hosted a workshop on November 16th entitled Setting the Freight Transportation Research Roadmap.

The designated National University Transportation Center will operate alongside the existing Midwest Regional University Transportation Center. A full strategic plan has been approved by the USDOT.

CFIRE will collaborate with the 10 states of the Mississippi Valley Region to coordinate a regional freight pooled fund, the Mississippi Valley Freight Coalition. For details, visit http://www.mississippivalleyfreight.org
