2007 Maintenance Performance Indicator Report

Description: The 2007 Maintenance Performance Indicator inspections were completed statewide during July and August. These inspections evaluate the performance indicators by MoDOT’s Major and Minor highway systems. Please refer to page 2 of this report for MoDOT’s Major highway system network. The number of samples inspected statewide for year 2007 was 2587 as compared to 2139 samples inspected for year 2006. 1293 samples were inspected on the Major Highway system and 1294 samples were inspected on the Minor Highway system. Performance indicators are used in the analysis to measure the level of service provided on asphalt and concrete pavements, paved and unpaved shoulders, drainage, roadsides, and traffic control. The data collected was compiled into overall level of service (LOS) ratings, which measures customer satisfaction with the highway system.
